Rising home prices slowing down in 2022?

If you are looking to buy a home you hope rising home prices stop or receded.  Own the home? Keep the sellers market and rising prices coming!

All the data is pointing to MORE price increases up to 21% over the next year in markets like Phoenix, Arizona.  US home price growth soared to 19.7% in July extending an unprecedented 14 month streak of increase and setting a new record for annual price growth.

Buyers feeling they missed the wave are right in the middle of it and will gain equity if they purchase now.  The problem has been low inventory with an increased population growth.  Builders of new homes are still behind the curve and will be years before they catch up.

Bottom line, don't wait for the market to cool if you wish to live in the valley of the sun.
